Elementary Asset Specialist

Cindy Lawrence has enjoyed sixteen years of experience as an educator at the elementary, middle school and collegiate level.  Her current work, developing relationships with schools, coordinating field placements and mentoring student teachers for Vanderbilt, has allowed her a unique vantage to view the challenges schools face through the lens of principals and teachers.  Her teaching experience and her training in asset building strategies make her a valuable asset in assisting schools to develop networks of student support across the layers of administrators, staff and students.
